Warm Weather Shipping Information

Please note: Sockerbit is not responsible for melting or heat-related damage that may occur during shipping. Once your order leaves our facility, it is subject to transit and delivery conditions beyond our control.

Some of our candies, especially gummies, chocolates, and marshmallow-based treats, may melt during transit in warm or hot weather. We do not use cold packs or insulated shipping materials.

Please keep the following in mind when placing your order:

Check the Forecast

If you live in a hot climate or your area is experiencing a heat wave, we recommend checking the weather before ordering. Waiting for cooler temperatures can help ensure your candy arrives in the best condition.

Retrieve Your Package Promptly

Once your order is delivered, bring it inside as soon as possible and let candy come back to room temperature before opening bags. Packages left outside for extended periods are more likely to be affected by heat.

No Refunds for Melted Candy

Once your order leaves our facility, we can’t control transit or delivery conditions. Melted candy will not be refunded or replaced.

1. Upgrade Your Shipping Method

Choosing faster shipping at checkout (such as Priority or Overnight) can shorten transit time and reduce exposure to heat.

2. Request a Weather Hold

If you’d prefer to wait it out, we can hold your order and ship it once the temperatures cool down in your area. Just email us to customercare@sockerbit.com after placing your order and let us know. 

3. Proceed with Standard Shipping

You’re welcome to place your order with regular standard shipping. Just be sure to retrieve your package promptly upon arrival.

Pro Tip

Check your tracking information closely. If possible, have your order delivered to a place where someone can retrieve it immediately, such as an office or building with indoor delivery, to avoid it sitting outside in the heat.
